02 / The comparison guide

Jeevz, or doing
it yourself.

Like for like, part by part. A typical do-it-yourself setup is a website from a freelancer or a site builder, hosting, a domain and email, upkeep, and job software for quotes. We give you our full price on the demo.

So you hear it from us

Where Jeevz is weaker today.

  • It’s new: in testing, not launched, and we don’t have customers yet.
  • Nothing is sent from Jeevz yet. You copy each reply and send it yourself.
  • Drafts cover routine electrical Checkatrade leads only. Good job software already does invoices and chasers; ours are planned.
  • There are no beauty drafts, and Jeevz doesn’t take bookings. Keep your booking app.
  • Doing it yourself can cost less, especially at the cheapest end. We show you both on the demo, so you can decide.

03 / The call diagram

What happens when
a customera client gets in touch.

Two routes into Jeevz: a call you can’t take, and a message. Each step says where it stands today.

A call you can’t take
  1. 1
    A customer rings while you’re up a ladder.A client rings while you’re mid-treatment.Waiting on a phone provider
  2. 2
They get one text back, in your business’s name. The same fixed text every time, asking what they need. It goes on its own, and only to a UK mobile.Waiting on a phone provider
  3. 3
Their reply lands in your Jeevz inbox. With the missed call, so it isn’t forgotten.Waiting on a phone provider

A message

  2. 2
It lands in your Jeevz inbox. In one place, not lost in your email.Built
  3. 3
A routine electrical Checkatrade lead gets a first reply drafted. It waits for you, marked Needs you.Website enquiries, and price, safety and unclear messages, come to you with no draft. Other trades may get no draft, or one that’s wrong for the trade. There are no beauty drafts.Built

You decide, and you send it.Copy the draft into Checkatrade and change it there if you want.Reply in your own words, with your prices, times and booking link. Nothing is sent from Jeevz today.Always you

When texting is added, the plan is that a reply goes only when you tap Approve, with two exceptions: the fixed missed-call text above, and Auto, which only works if you switch it on and only for a kind of job you’ve approved 20 times unchanged. Auto replies say they came from your automated assistant. When texting is added, the fixed missed-call text above is the only message planned to go without you. Auto, which sends short replies for a kind of job you’ve approved 20 times, needs drafts, and there are no beauty drafts.

04 / Straight answers

Still got
a question?

Ask us on the demo, or start with these.

What is Jeevz, in one line?

An app that puts your website enquiries and Checkatrade lead emails in one place, drafts first replies to routine electrical Checkatrade leads and adds up your quotes. You check everything and send it yourself. Your website comes with it.

A website made for your beauty business, plus our enquiry app: your website’s enquiries in one place and your quotes added up. The app was built for trade firms first, and there are no beauty drafts.

Who is it for?

Owners of small UK trade firms who are on the tools when the enquiries come in. We’re starting with electricians, plumbing and heating engineers and roofers. The drafted replies are written for electrical jobs today, so for other trades most enquiries come to you with no draft.

People who run their own beauty business, solo or with a small team: lash techs, nail techs, brow and waxing specialists and aesthetics practitioners.

Does Jeevz send messages on its own?

Not today. Jeevz doesn’t send texts or emails, so it sends nothing, and you send every reply yourself. When texting is added, the plan is that a reply goes only when you send it, with the exceptions under the call diagram above.

Does it take bookings or read Instagram?

No. Keep the booking app you use now: Jeevz doesn’t see your bookings or your diary. It doesn’t read Instagram, WhatsApp or booking-app messages either. Add your booking link when you send the reply yourself.

Is Jeevz linked to Checkatrade?

No. Jeevz isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Checkatrade, has no link to Checkatrade’s systems and never logs in for you. You forward the lead emails Checkatrade sends you, and you copy a draft back into Checkatrade yourself. Check your own Checkatrade terms before you forward lead emails.

Are the example websites real?

No. They’re made-up businesses with illustrative photos, to show the look. Try your name, town and colours in the studio to see how your own site could look.

Why are there no prices on this page?

We give you the full price on the 20-minute demo, before you commit to anything, alongside what doing it yourself would cost. Your website, inbox and quotes come from one supplier on one bill. Invoicing still needs job software today.
